Curly split end frizzy hair?

kk, decided to grow my hair longer than 1inch for the 1st time this year

had 3 cuts in this year (how stupid ive now found out)

now i have 6 inch hair

ive found out my hair grows out away from my head ringlet curly after 2 inch

ive got loads of split ends and my hair is a frizzy mess

do i have to cut off most of my hair and start again ?

Im male, so all i do is condition my hair every morning, scunch till it's damp then leave to dry and it naturally curls up and out away from my head afro style, love it to pieces but just wish it just wasn't this frizzy anything i can do low maintenance that

will improve the state of my hair or do i have to go back to the drawing board, cut it and grow it slowly with regular trims ?

any tips would be great for this ringlet curly long haired virgin ?

As far as the split ends, you have to get those cut off to maintain healthy hair. Try to have your ends trimmed 1/2 inch to 1 inch every 6 - 8 weeks to keep you hair in great shape.

Use a heavier leave in conditioner. Scrunching may separate the curls and could be causing your frizz. A trim is the best way to remove split ends.
