I am so sick of my hair! Ideas?

Last summer my former hairdresser completely butchered my hair. He basically gave me an unauthorized pixie cut. I want my hair to be longer again, so I've been growing it out and I pretty much can't stand the shape of it any longer. I'm going to dye it from red to a dark brown (unsure of what shade yet), but I don't know what cut to do.

Any input is appreciated. I want an edgy shape, but still mature, and I don't know what color to try (I'm super pale). Help a poor, lost soul!

Maybe try like long layers. Or side bangs, or bangs that hang in front. I dont know what you like but that sopund good to me. Also try wearing it in different styles, like side ponytail, bun, braids, and the list goes on.

what you could try is a victoria beckham cut only slightly longer. i think it looks really cool and gives u instant style without having to put in lots of work straightening it etc

ask for a graduated bob, longer at the front.

as for colour as ur very white (me 2!) i would steer clear of reds and dark colours as they just - wel they make me look see thru lolz.

maybe go for a dark blonde with gingery highlights? if ur a red head naturally?

I think at this point because you want to grow out your hair the best thing for you to do not go over the top with the cutting. Keep it simple, add some face framing layers, and cut off only what you need to in order to get your hair to the point where its going to grow out nicely.

I would suggest trying to have some fun with your colour. A technique called a triangular section is super funky and not a lot of people have it, you might like something like that.
