I get my hair highlighted but notice it is not done close to the root. Some pieces are done thin and others chunkier. I do not like the look when after 3 weeks I have to touch up my roots again. I have heard there is sucha thing is On THE SCALP bleach that can be applied to the roots. has anyone ever heard of this or had good experience with this? ia m referring to getting it done AT THE SALON. PLease tell me if there is such a thing is off the scalp bleach and how close are the highlights supposed to be from the root? Every stylist seems to tell me something different. Highlights are usually done not close to the root who know why but that is what a sylist told me.

I've had it done and it was about 1cm or a bit less to the scalp. So it does last longer. Maybe a month longer then if you didn't get the scalp done. But maybe each salon is a little different.
