May I have some help with my dream interpretation, please.?

arguing with old friend about keys, and threating for her to give them back to me

finding myself in a classroom seeing two white males. one held up a cracked wine glass. The older spoke of and injury, and have to where a wig/hair piece for a year and a half. he placed the wig hair piece on the younger one's head and proceeded to ask everyone in the class how it looked, and stared with me. I said it looked good. It actually looked like a receeding hair line, and the the older one said, "It looks like mine, doesn't," he said in a way that it looked good or something. They both looked terrible. And then I woke up.

Please tell me what is the significance of:

*auguing with friend who was in actuallity an enemy

*asking about keys

*hair piece

*two males (one like father, and the other like son)

*wine-glass, cracked

*scared/injured head

*hair piece

*satifaction with very unappealing hair(he was balding and was very happy about it.)

thank you for your time

May I have some help with my dream interpretation, please.?

To see your enemy in your dream, represents opposing ideas and contradictory attitudes. It also indicates something that you are in denial about or someone whom you are rejecting. Enemies may also represent the enemies within and your inner conflict with yourself.

To dream that you are dealing with the enemies, represents a resolution to some inner conflict or waking life problem.

To see a key in your dream, symbolizes opportunities, access, control, secrets, or responsibilities. You may be locking away your own inner feelings and emotions. If you hear the sounds of keys rattling, then it indicates that you have the right attitude toward life. You are heading in the right direction and asking all the right questions in the process. It is also a sign of decisive action.

To dream that you lose your keys, signifies your fear of losing your position or status in life. You may have lost control of yourself. It may also foretells of unexpected changes and unpleasant adventures.

To dream that you are wearing a wig, symbolizes deception, false impressions and falsehood. You may be taking on other people's ideas and opinions and trying to pass them off as your own. Maybe you are worried that someone else is stealing your ideas???

To see broken glass in your dream, signifies a change in your life. You will find that a situation will come to an abrupt and untimely end.

maybe you are frustrated with the way someone is taking your ideas and making them their own, you worried about the impact it has on your own life? Maybe they are not quite using those ideas as your thought they should be used??

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me

She mostly acts up when she doesn't get her way. They send her to time out and she screams, takes her clothes off(even her hair pieces), and sometimes uses the bathroom on herself(she been potty trained for almost a year). NONE OF THIS SHE EVEN THINKS OF DOING AT HOME. I know part of the problem is that they cannot spank her there. I hardly ever have to spank her at home cause she's gotten to the point where she knows her boundaries. So I figured if I no longer spanked her at home and just talked to her then their method would work on her but it only back fired on me. She started to treat me like them. On top of that when she had gotten to the point when she started taking of her clothes they questioned me as if it wasn't normal and something had to be going on at home. I do reward her when she is good with stickers and cookies. They moved her with the kids a year older because she was always the leader and seemed to outgrow the ones her age. It seemed to work but now she is back at it

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

What were the consequences at home for her misbehavior at daycare?

If you give her a timeout (sitting on a chair or standing in the corner) and she won't do it, starts the screaming, taking off her clothes, ect., sit her down on your lap and hold her, if she flails, restrain her, let her know her behavior is unacceptable, "You are not being a good girl" that you want her to be "moms good girl"..."if you're a good girl at daycare/home we will for go for ice cream, "You were such a good girl today I'm taking you to playland at mc donalds", ect.

Be consistent...when she realizes you are not going to allow her tantrums, they will become less and 3 - 5 mins on a chair will be accepted...the same rules should apply at daycare. Good luck!

When she gets home talk to her and tell her if she keeps doing that you are going to spank her after...

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

try taking things away, example, a toy. when she is better for a week, she gets it back. but it has to be her favorite toy and something she will really want to get back

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

its time for you to sit her down for a talk about school behavior

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

My conclusion I'm jumping to is that she is too smart or above average and is acting out when she has to conform. Find a different day care facility where people are understanding of her and it can make all the difference in the world.

She is only 3 years old. Some kids act like her at 2, and some post pone it until 3. It's normal, but the fact that they can't get a handle on her makes me suspicious of the people who run the day care. Not of you.

I also believe that you can discipline her without swatting her, too. But, I cannot see or observe what is going on... good luck.

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

If things are fine at home, but aren't in daycare, I think it's time to find a new daycare. Instead of an actual facility, why not look for family/home run daycares in your area that are more apt to cater to you/your daughter's needs. She seems to know she isn't going to get punished at daycare so she keeps at it. Either that or see if you can get a family member to watch her.

Tray something else like taking to her like a big kid I know it hard maybe because you're working she miss you or she just what her why and if that dot work just tray not talking to her tell her that you mad at her because what she did and take her toys .that work with my baby cousin let mi know if it work.

Good Luck!

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

At the age of 3 children push the limits every single day, its a natural and normal behavioral development. Yes its unusual that she removes her clothing and messes herself, but in the end lets face it, she gets what she wants to, she gets to go home with mum. It may sound harsh, but when she displays this behavior then not only does she need time out, but she need to get herself cleaned up, redressed and kept in time out till she calms down. By calling you home from work and you taking her home, she is getting what she wants, she sees it as a reward for her misbehaving. I would if I was you explain it to the day care people, if they have to call you to come get her, sure go tend to her, but don't let her get her way by taking her out of day care.

Placing her back with children her own age is probably a good idea as well, although she seemed to outgrow them, if she is getting bossy or pushy with them then the same time out rule needs to apply.

Hopefully it will only take a few days of upsets before she gets back on track.

Hope this helps.

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

Well, if it makes you feel any better- it sounds like she's playing up as she's away from mom and dad and wants them back. We just did this in psychology. She seems skilled at getting your attention, well that's what kids are programmed to do. So she's succeeded and you're obviously well bonded with her. It's actually healthy. I know it doesn't seem it.

I remember now- you need to give her things that remind her of her loved ones. You know, blankets, bears, anything that reminds her of you. Even a recording, your scent, an old sweater. You get the picture- that makes kids most secure with others.

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

4 things I think:

1) she is having emotional problems at home, some abuse or something

2) she may have a chemical imbalnance in her brain (but if she only acts out there, I would doubt it)

3) she is trying to tell you that is not a good place. maybe their is abuse going on at the daycare... something is wrong there

or

4)she needs more time with her family... I am a single mom and have one income with no child support, but when my duaghter was younger, I could only work part time because of her anxiety....

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

You need a new daycare place. I can't believe they questioned you because she took off her clothes. That is paranoia in my book. She is 2 years old and kids do that sort of thing when they are 2. (Terrible two's). Just because she is almost three does not mean she should act like a child who is 3 and almost 4.

Maybe she behaves at home because she is afraid of you. She is obviously not afraid of them because they don't do anything to her besides put her in time out. Maybe if they stopped talking to her for a while instead of the timeout thing it would work better.

What do you mean by "she uses the bathroom on herself"? Do you mean she wets or soils her panties? I never heard that expression before. Children who revert to that kind of behavior are frequently suspected of trying to get attention because of a new sibling or such. Maybe she doesn't like to be in the older group and is trying to appear younger.

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

Is the school monitoring the antecedents (precursers) of her behavior? What is triggering the outbursts? Is it just that she isn't getting her way, or is something else going on? They need to be investigating WHY this is happening first, before they can figure out WHAT to do about it. Is she being provoked by someone? Is she getting enough attention? Children act out for four main reasons... to avoid something/someone, to get something, to gain attention, and to get/avoid a sensory experience. The staff needs to take time to observe her... see what she is seeking or avoiding. You mentioned that she recently changed levels of classrooms... is she now the youngest in the group? They need to then investigate the causes of her actions... is she trying to get away, seek attention or is there a reason that she takes off her clothes? What are they doing to prevent meltdowns? Part of this is observing... they need to know what sets her off in order to be able to counteract the behavior. So, basically, the answer to your question is that you need to talk to the staff and find out if they are documenting and observing her behavior to find out what is the cause. There is always a reason for behavior- you just need to find the cause. Good luck!

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

Does she wear different clothing at the center than she does at home? Maybe she is physically uncomfortable at daycare for some reason. why does she wear hairpieces.

Did you ask her in a non-confronting way why she doesn't like to go to the bathroom. Maybe there is a boogyman in there. Do they have stalls? Maybe she is afraid of the toilets? Do they have privacy in the bathroom?

She sounds desperate to me.

My almost 3yr old has been mis-behaving at daycare. It's gotten to the point when they call me at work HELP!

are you aware of the research that shows children who enter day care in the first year of life, and who spend more than 10 hours a week away from mommy before age 3 become very aggressive and very unhappy? are you aware of the research that shows spanking makes kids aggressive and stupid?

Of course she's not doing it at home - she's hardly ever home. You're not her mom, she really doesn't have a mom. So, she's like a wild animal. but, she is desparate for your attention and she'll do what it takes to get smidgens of it. but unless you try now to actually be there for her, you've pretty much screwed up her personality for good - she will always have that empty ache inside wondering why you didn't love her enough to be with her. It's just how kids are.

How sad. Look what you've done.

give her what you've been cheating her out of - a home and a mother. what a lousy life you've given her, huh?

Do you have any TENNIS memorabilia?

You know....Sharapova's shoe, a lock of Roger Federer's hair. Pieces of Rafael Nadal's shirt! Wink! LOL!

Do you have any TENNIS memorabilia?

Hey I will gladly trade a lock of Federer's hair for a pair of Sharapova's undies. Just kidding. I would also include Nadal's shirt.

I have a ball from the US Open, and ticket stubs from the US Open, and a picture of some of Canada's top Jr. players back in the day. But nothing too modern or of star calibre.

Tennis players are just ordinary people with the talent or skill to do something very well. I never understood the fascination with autograph seekers or photo hounds.

Memories are my best memorabilia

Do you have any TENNIS memorabilia?

i have a few ticket stubs and two posters from Andy Roddick. com (for being theyre fan of the month of august) one was autographed.

apart from that, no.. sigh.. hahaha.

Do you have any TENNIS memorabilia?

i got a personalized autograph from andre agassi

Will my hair still have...??

I was thinking of dyeing my hair a light ash blonde by natural match later in the summer when my roots grow out. My hair has highlights so would you still see the highlights in myhair when its dyed? like will there be blonder pieces and darker pieces? Or will it go all the one color?

Will my hair still have...??

You might see the color just wipe a piece of hair off by Ur root and see if u can see them if u can re-apply hair die to the part of hair u wiped off. Check diffrent pieces of the hair every time. repeat tell u can no longer see the other color but do not exceed the time the box gives you

Will my hair still have...??

you'll have light parts and darker parts and yes your roots well come out

Will my hair still have...??

It will all be one color, but as you wash your hair and have it exploited to the sun and wind etc. it will start to fade, and the light colors will be noticeable (if those highlights were bleached)

Isn't is amazing how women can be beautiful and yet shallow enough to go after a rich man who i

I see young women who go after these rich men who look like they wear hair pieces that flap in the wind and they are ugly and repulsive. They dump a wife of many years to pick up the tramps who make them feel good...many are dancers and hookers...don't the rich men care if these women are clean or loyal? Ivana Trump is beautiful and loyal, and she got tossed like an old shoe. Just shows money can not make a person moral. I hope the tabloids are not a reflection of real life. They are so trashy.

Isn't is amazing how women can be beautiful and yet shallow enough to go after a rich man who is a pig.?

Many beautiful and confident women go for wealthy men because the the financial security. It's not just because they are shallow-they also want to make sure that they have the best life that they can get.

Isn't is amazing how women can be beautiful and yet shallow enough to go after a rich man who is a pig.?

Ouch!!! some one got burned.

To answer your Question . No.

Isn't is amazing how women can be beautiful and yet shallow enough to go after a rich man who is a pig.?

Yes isn't it. Go on Match or another on line dating service and look at a females requirements.

Athletic or toned, and a man who makes 50 k and up

And women call us shallow

Isn't is amazing how women can be beautiful and yet shallow enough to go after a rich man who is a pig.?

Helen Rowland said it best:

When you see what some women marry, you realize how they must hate to work for a living.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

A friend of mine is getting married to her boyfriend of 8 years. They were going to have a formal wedding, but "The moms" were making plans they did NOT want. Now, they are going on a "weddingmoon" with the kids. My friend is a seamstress. For their special day, she made her own dress. It's a 100% cotton, empire waist, ankle length dress, with blue ribbon around the bust. She has made the same style of dresses for her daughters (same color as the ribbon). She has also made matching shirts for her fiancee and son. She's all ready made her bouquets, boutineers, and 3 hair pieces. She showed me the dresses, and I thought they were cute. They aren't going to wear any shoes because the ceremony is going to be on the beach. "The moms" think their clothing is cheap and tacky. The clothing she made, is VERY well made. What do you think of their choices?

What do you think? Opinions please.?

I think its great! Sounds like a great way to make their wedding day memories even more personal and special.

And the dresses themselves sound very beautiful!

and the shirts sound very hansom!

As for the lack of shoes is a great idea. It would be no fun trying to walk on/in sand. And bare feet are so natural and beautiful. ~~~Good luck with the mom troubles

What do you think? Opinions please.?

I would say it is up to them and mom should bite her tongue.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

I think your friend should do what make her happy. The HELL with what the "MOM" think. It her day.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

Who cares what the moms think, it's not THEIR wedding and they should be told to keep their damn place!

What do you think? Opinions please.?

the moms are just pisssed they can't run the show. cotton is very acceptable for a beach wedding and if they're all matching it will look very together.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

It's her wedding! She should do what makes her happy and make it a memorable day. It's a once in a life time opportunity and she wouldn't want to regret that she changed her mind on what she liked years down the road.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

The mom's need to shut the hell up or start writing some checks for store-bought clothing.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

If she's happy with it, that's all that matters. I had the same problem with my family members trying to make decisions for us. I finally told them, I appreciate your suggestions but since my fiance and I are paying for it, we are going to do it our way. They got the hint and backed off.

I think having the weddingmoon is probably a good idea. Family has a way of making it their day and missing the entire point of the meaning of the day. The vows are the important part, who cares what you are wearing as long as you mean the vows you take.

I think her wedding will be beautiful!

What do you think? Opinions please.?

OMG how sweet they sound! I am the mother of an upcoming bride and an up coming groom. A parents job is to make suggestions, be supportive and smile even if you hate the idea of something your child has chosen. Moms have had their day it is not their turn. I just think it is rude and uncalled for a mom to offer such an opinion. Why cant people just be happy for the and not care so much about what the clothing looks like.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

I think that's a good idea. I too am getting married and I know what it is like to have somone making plans that you don't like. The moms should ask your friend what she likes. The wedding is supposed to be the bride's special day, so she should have a say in the plans for her wedding.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

Sounds lovely for a casual beach wedding. If that was my style I would totally wear the dresses and say screw you to the mothers.

What do you think? Opinions please.?

It sounds like the Moms are ruining everything.

This couple should do it, their way.

The Bride should use anything/everthing she wants.

Together, as a couple, they should go to both Moms, together .. and tell them if they don't 'butt-out' .. that they will completely do the wedding without them.

It is their wedding. Their life. Their choices.

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

I have inbetween curly and wavy hair. I straighten it everyday I wear it down. I would love my thick hair to be worn in a wavy or curly style. The only problem is, my hair ends up looking like a fizzy mix of curls and waves, and strange pieces. How do i get it to have waves like:

Please someone has to know how to do this. Remember I don't have hours in the morning. The best way would be if it wasn't with a curling iron, or blowdryer. Step by step intructinos please. I'll give the best, the best answer, and anyone who gives insturctions a thumbs up, PLEASE HELP!!

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

you should work with your natural wave. unfortunately there's not much you can do without some type of heat styling. if you're nervous about damage, then use a heat protector spray. I recommend the one by CHI. you can use a smoothing cream, and then blow-dry with a diffuser using low heat

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

no clue

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

I would just wash your hair before you go to bed and don't dry it. Put an anti-frizz cream in your hair while it is damp, and sleep on your hair, you would get like a wavy beach hair look.

Hope this helps!

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

the first 1 curling iron our u can't because the hairs made that way and it s a gift

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

wash your hair and do two french braids before you go to sleep. when u wake up take them out and they look soo cute!!! its easy and its quick

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

A little Mandy Moore obsessed?? I think if you start with the right cut, that always helps. That way your curls won't fall out half way through the day. What I do is spray my hair with a light hairspray, put hot rollers in them, let sit for 10-15min depending on time, then unroll them, flip your hair upside down a couple of times, and then run your fingers through it, and then spray again. Done. 25 minute tops. Hopes this works.

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

Yes. A curling iron and a blowdrier are good tools. They could fry your hair though and we don't want that to happen. I would reccommend asking a actually hairstylist. Look in magazine articles and keep your eye out for things that might help you.

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

A curring urn!

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

Some times I can get my hair to look similiar to the second picture by putting my hair in several small buns on my scalp. I do this when my hair is almost completely dry. I then sleep on it, then in the morning undo the bottom first and it's nice and curly. Don't comb through the top layers, if you have to, just comb the very top. Use some hair spray, and your done.

My hair is naturally straight so, I'm not sure how it will work for you.

How do i get my hair to have perfect waves, or big perfect curls?

A ceramic straightener! I know it sounds really stupid to curl your hair with a straightener, but I tried it myself and it works way better then a normal curling iron. Chi ceramic straightener works the best its by Farouk. It only takes me 10 mins. to curl my hair in the morning because the ceramic straightener is much more hotter then normal irons. Just simple take a chunk of hair put it in the straightener and curl it as you would with a normal curling iron. I hope that helped. Oh and use serum before you curl also! Try biosilk...it smells great too =]

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

i had my hair cut recently and i ask for a short cut just below my ears and she has cut it funny so the front pieces and side pieces sit above the ears and the rest is longer at the back - it looks stupid and she has layered or feathered a lot of the hair on top so it looks shaggy and different lengths! she used like a sliver comb with cutting bits in it??!

all i asked for was a simple trim. had it cut over a month ago and the back seems 2 be longer, but the top and sides dont seem to be growing at all! i hate the hairstyle and am fed up!...i did try 2 ask her not to cut it so short! any tips to help it grow better and bit quicker? i know i will have to wait for it to grow. i dont want hair extensions - cant afford them...but just wanted general advice....

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Try another hairdresser.

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

make sure to stimulate your scalp all you can. rub your head, brush your scalp come your scalp, itch yoru scalp...and try taking prenatal vitamins...your hair grows so much faster

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Yeah hairdressers suck. They always make it shorter than you want it.

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

hm.. you could maybe use some cute clips or something

and hats are always an option :)

but i think one of the differences between a bad hair cut and a good hair cut is the confidence you wear it with.

like to one person your haircut might look not so great, but to another it might look unique.

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

There is nothing really that will help your hair grow quickly, people say vitamins or minerals like E, C and Zinc work but there is no real proof. I would get those tiny little hair clips that look like little claws, and I would clip them all over my head to make my hair look cute. Otherwise you are pretty much stuck with it for now. I'm so sorry, I know how you feel, my hairdresser did the same thing. It's been 6 months and I can FINALLY get a new hair cut!

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

shout !! use a recommended hairdresser !

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Wear hats.

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Have a really funky colour put on your hair?

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

To have long hair you have to be willing to trim it every 4 - 6 weeks. That is a must. Eating well in high protein and calcium will help to. After all that is what protein and calcium do is repair and help restore hair, muscle, nails, and rejuvenate cells. Genetics has a lot to do with it too....meaning your hair may only grow a certain length and stop as well as your nails. Vitamins help a great deal too!!!

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Did you want a bob style? I'm sure your hair looks OK, maybe have it cut short at the back if it looks like a mullet. Is it like a J-pop(Japanese popstar) haircut? You are lucky, when I go for a haircut I wished she would cut it all off instead of only a bit shorter!

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

It probably doesn't look as bad as you think. It sounds quite trendy to me. Try to put out your mind what you expected her to do, and take a fresh look at it, with a view to being different from anyone else. I hate looking the same as anyone else, so I would probably like it. Get someone to take your picture with a digital camera and load it on to your computer and have a look at it, as other people will see it. I bet by the time you have grown it out, you will start to like it.

If you are still unhappy, try not to worry, at the end of the day it's just hair and it will grow again. x

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

cut it all same length %26amp; yeah try another hair dresser

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

You don't say how much was actually cut off, but if you are certain you asked for a trim and your hairdresser 'went for it' go back and make a formal complaint. I would suggest a fairly busy Saturday!

Refuse their offer to cut it again, demand your money back , then you can afford to go to a recommended hairdresser to be given better advice and have it sorted out.

Hairdresser ruined my hair - HELP!!?

as a salon owner and a stylist, she should of never cut your hair like that without asking you first, you should go back to the salon and complain, did you know if she was fully trained or not, sounds to me that she has a used a razor on your hair

and also she has chopped heavily into it, there is no way to help it grow better but you can have the back cut properly so that it blends in better, then have regular trims but not by that stylist of course, they are called micro trims, if one of my stylists cut a clients hair like that without asking first I would sack her then offer to fix your hair for free

Will my larggggge nose.... ?

I have a large nose, I suppose the rest of my face compliments it because I am NOT ugly though. I have a nice, pretty foreheard and I was wondering would bangs (NOT A BLUNT CUT) that are like almost hilary duff-ish go with me? enough so you could sweep some of it to the side and like my hair pieces are seperate from one another. does a pretty forehead (pretty prominant) and a big nose look good with bangs (not blunt)

Will my larggggge nose.... ?

avoid any hair style that vee's above your nose this will draw attention to it just get styles that draw attention to your forehead and hair itself.~~

Will my larggggge nose.... ?

Well, Haylie Duff has a large nose, and she pulls of bangs really nicely! I think that as long as the bangs are either shorter than, or longer than your nose, it should work out great.

Will my larggggge nose.... ?

honestly can't say girl, but if u cld post a pic then it'd be easier for us pple to give u advice.

Will my larggggge nose.... ?

hummm....I think bangs will just focus the nose

How much would you pay...?

I've been making various styles of jewelry, costume accessories, festival masks and actual costumes for a while now, and have begun planning to sell them, or take commissioned requests for things such as these.

I want to know how much people would be willing to pay for this type of stuff.

The jewelry I make is mostly leather, hemp, chain maile, earrings, hair pieces.

The masks are made for cosplaying, or by commissioned request.

Costume accessories like cat ears, tails, various other bits.

And the whole costumes are done by commission only.

So how much would you be willing to pay for any of these things?

Would you say price would be based on size, or style? Or maybe the time that went into the detail?

(And please keep it realistic; good leather is not that cheap, nor is anything else nowadays.)

How much would you pay...?

I am not sure on the detail you put into your work or what exactly it is so it is hard for me to say.

I would set my prices according to what the piece is and then if extras are added and it is extremely time consuming then it would be a bit more.

Can you go online and see the going rates for the things that you are making? Find comparable objects?

I would say necklaces range from $9 and up?

Cat ears and tails? $12 maybe?

I am not sure. Hope this works out for you though! SD

How much would you pay...?

i wouldn't pay anything or nor i would buy it

How much would you pay...?

you need to charge enough to cover the cost of the supplies you use and it does depend on the size and amount of time some pieces are more detailed. and it depends on the area you live in. you might want to look at different stores and swap meets that sell about the same items you do to get a better idea of prices. good luck. also you could check out eBay and sell them their or look up stuff for prices.

How much would you pay...?

YOU HAVE TO ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT YOUR PAYING FOR YOUR SUPPLIES AND INCLUDE ELECTRIC AND YOUR TIME AND ADD THEM TOGETHER IF TOTAL COST IS EG: 35,00

ADD 60% TO THAT WOULD GET YOU TO A TOTAL OF $116.00. SALE PRICE IF YOUR LOOKING TO SEE WHAT ARE OTHER PEOPLE CHARGING THEN GO TO TRADE SHOWS WERE THERE MIGHT BE PEOPLE SELLING THE SAME STUFF AND QUALITY AS YOU AND YOU CAN GET A BETTER IDEA. GOOD LUCK

How much would you pay...?

it depends on the complexity and difficulty of the product if you make it your self. The question is, how much are you worth? How much experience do u have?

How much would you pay...?

It would depend on the style, size and materials used. You'll have to cover your cost and time of course. Without seeing them it is hard to say. For the accessories/jewelery I would probably pay around $10 to $15, for the more elaborate ones a bit more, up to $25

Don't subject yourself to this fetish that is borderline pedophilia~ Find something more intellectually stimulating to do the night of the party. That's my suggestion.

I'm going to a "school girl" themed party and need help finding the perfect outfit.?

don't go the brittney spears route, she's not the one to look like, maybe a tube top, maybe that's not schoolish, maybe a shrug/cardigin, lacey/ruffle blouse???

I'm going to a "school girl" themed party and need help finding the perfect outfit.?

go "British" with a white button down, and a man's tie loosely tied, knee socks, and penny loafers, hair in pigtails

I'm going to a "school girl" themed party and need help finding the perfect outfit.?

Hot Topic has so many different versions of this outfit---they have a lot of very short plaid skirts (I suggest wearing boyshorts underneath), lots of knee or thigh-highs, and button down/zip up tops.

Tons of them. Millions of hits.

Photoshop Brushes?

Try googling Photoshop brushes on google. I have Adobe Photoshop 8, and I find many brushes on there. They are usually zip files, and you should scan them incase of virus or spyware. Then you place the unzipped brush into your brush folder that's located where your Photoshop files and documents are.

Photoshop Brushes?

Making your own is easier than downloading them. Open photoshop up and create a custom brush tip using a portion of a picture you choose. It's really easy - but I will not go into detail here. Just google how its done.

Photoshop Brushes?

yeah it is easier to make your own that is what I do

Would you be embarrassed?

to own real animal fur? I was watching cribs and they would be like " This is genuine fox" or whatever and I kept getting embarrassed (you know how you get embarrassed for people sometimes so bad that you want to hide behind a pillow? well, like that). I've never even thought about until I kept thinking how awful I would feel to admit I owned dead animal hair pieces... Anybody else feel that way?

Would you be embarrassed?

You're sweet! I would never ever own anything made of real fur! It goes against my moral beliefs. Once, my friend was wearing a fur coat and I asked her if it was real, and she very proudly said, yes, fox. And I told her that I'm against that.

Would you be embarrassed?

yup!

Would you be embarrassed?

I am offended by people that hunt animals for there fur. I do everything I can to NOT encourage that sort of thing in our culture. The only fur I have are the ones on my tarantulas molted skin :P

Would you be embarrassed?

i wouldnt have the chance to be embarressed as i would never in a million years buy wear or own any real animal fur whatsoever, i dont find being clothed in "i am animal murdering promoting scum bag" appealing, whatsoever, and yeah i know what you mean, it makes me cringe!

Would you be embarrassed?

I'm not militant PETA, but I think it is disgusting to wear a coat of animal fur that is bred ONLY for fur. Now I think it MAKES SENSE to wear cow or sheep leather, because their meat is used. Using their skin for clothing is making less waste and putting it to good use. However, chinchilla, which are sooo cute and make such sweet pets, and rabit-the same, even though they CAN be eaten, I doubt that the ones that they make fur coats out of ARE...

I hope I'm making sense. I'm operating on very little sleep... again.

Would you be embarrassed?

nothing could possibly be more elegant than an animal corpse on a baby crib. ew

Would you be embarrassed?

Yeah I know! People are like I'm wearing a chinchilla vest, so freakin what! Do you know how many animals die each year just so people can look fashionable? The only place wearing fur is acceptable in my book is Russia in winter months!

To all you fur wearing doofus's.......you stink!

Would you be embarrassed?

I hate those people with a PASSION; it is horrible and needs to stop. I am just so grateful that there are other people in this world, who feel the same...spread the love and save the animals!

Would you be embarrassed?

i would never ever purchase real fur products ... so i wouldn't have a chance to feel embarrassed,if i did - it would be more ashamed. that is despicable.

Would you be embarrassed?

well my grandma had furry coat...so i keep it as memory on her...she died long before all those anti-fur campaignes...I'm not wearing it...

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

I know I have kinda harped on this subject, but I never heard of people being so down on pagents until I started getting on Yahoo Answers. One of my best friends growing up, was in pagents all her life and she is a perfectly normal, sweet, loving adult, so she wasn't harmed by them. I have heard some on her make reference to perverts and such, but I have never heard a case where a child was harmed as a direct result of a pagent. They haven't even proved why Jon Benet was killed, so there is no proof it was related to the pagents. I personally wouldn't put put all that makeup, hair pieces, and $1000 costumes, but regular pagents, like local town pagents don't do this, or not the ones I have seen. If a child wants to do these pagents, the parents don't deserve to be critisized for allowing it. What is the difference in these pagents and a parent who gets their kid an agent and starts hiring them out as a model for clothes companies or magazines? It is all in good fun, so please tell me.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

where we come from in the country these little pagents were just a part of the county fair and i have never seen any harm in them.. i always enjoyed watching the parades of little kids as well as bigger kids participate in these.. it should be a parents decesion just how far you take your chilod in life as far as getting them in the lime light.. if you have a beautiful child by all means show them off..personally i am looking forward to going to this parade and seeing my great niece .. i'll probably say hi ariel and she will say there's marsha..ok that's all i have to say on the pagent subject..good luck kid.. on to bigger and better things as long as they are in taste..might think about that long lank boy of yours doing some male modeling

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

When does good fun turn into an obsession?

When does the person become less of a person and more of a commodity?

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

Its not just those reasons. I am not against pageants, but some people are because they can foster (not cause) eating disorders, stress disorders, depression, and loss of self-esteem. Depends on the person and the situation in my opinion.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

They are OUT-DATED ! It's NOT the 60's anymore. And a model isn't the same thing. They're not in a parade...

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

It's okay for you to continue your life with blinders on and ignore facts. I'm not totally anti-pageant, but then I don't get to choose what these money-hungry grubs organize to flaunt the innocent kids.

I think you may have smelled too much Alpo and your brain has gone to the dogs.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

It is my opinion that people are down on pageants because they tend to lend a "meat market" atmospere to the whole thing. Little girls grow up to believe that looking good is what counts the most. If this is something that you don't have a problem with in your life, then more power to you. But when girls are started off at an extremely young age, and when they have totally no choice in the matter at all, I have a problem. Contrary to the claims put forth by the parents, these contests are not for the kids, they are for the parents ego.

I believe if parents want a Barbie doll, then they can go to

Toys R Us and buy one.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

I believe that a lot of people don't like beauty pageants because of the way they objectify women--ie women as objects. As far as exploiting children, that would probably have to be on a case by case basis, depending on the parents of the child, etc. Is there a difference between that and modelling out your child? Probably not, although modelling could be considered more like a job, while pageants are something of an anomoly--more like performance or a pasttime, not a job. I'm sure that it is all on a case by case basis; some folks model or do beauty pageants and have no problems; others are indeed exploited and/or objectified.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

becuase its the parents obession not the childs. children shouldnt be shown off.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

This is a case where a a few twisted people %26amp; the news media worp the public view of something. There is nothing wrong with pagents in general, like most things there only truely bad when taken to extreans.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

I am against them because I believe all children are beautiful and shouldn't have to be judged to be seen that way. No there was never proof that a pageant caused Jon Benet's death but there is no proof that it didn't either. I just don't see why these parents feel the need to pose their children and not allow them to be children. I think that the pageant yours was in wasn't as bad as far as make up, hair, and the costumes but I still disagree with it. Kids don't feel beautiful enough today to be put through that. You are just starting to put her in the town pageants, what next? You will move to other places and become more obsessed with it. Why do you have to prove that your child is beautiful to other people? We teach our kids not to worry with what people think about them, yet put them on a stage for people to judge them. Makes no sense at all. The majority of those children are dressed in small clothes, hair done, and make up on, they are portrayed as little adults not children. So when a monster does look at them in a horrible way, it's on those parents. Don't parade your children around like objects, allow them to be children and run around in your house or yard, etc. and have fun. I really don't see where a kid can decide they like it, if that's all they have known their whole lives either. The ones that started later I can see it but not these kids that were "born" in to it. Parents have the influence in it, not the kids. If mom says to them, "it's fun, you'll love it" and they say it enough, the child will also say that. The difference in pageants and modeling is the career in it for one, the fact that the kid isn't sitting in front of judges saying, "nope you aren't beautiful" for two, and they are modeling clothes for a company, not for a parent who wants to think their child is more beautiful then the other mothers child. It isn't all in good fun either. Look at these mothers who purposely sabotage other children's costumes, buy the judges, sleep with the judges, etc. all so their child wins. Look at the mothers who go after another childs mother because that child won and not theirs, how is that fun?

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

3 words why: Jon Benet Ramsey.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

Because they make kids look like creepy little dolls that should be in horror movies.

Let the kid be a kid.

Please answer this time! :(?

If buying clip-on extesnisons online, how many do you need?

As in, how many should one buy? Each pack includes 2 clip-in hair pieces. I want to do my whole head obviously.

if you have any idea, please tell me

thank you! :O

Please answer this time! :(?

They're pretty big. If you want a layered look, I'd go for 10.

If you want to go for the really bluntish cut I'd say about 15. Those are cute. Maybe I'll try them.

Please answer this time! :(?

Ok. here it goes. Buy 10 packs. Place 3 at the bottom of the nape area, working your way up towards the top by adding one extra each row. Seperate the hair by two inches when parting. The side should hold about three each this will create a longer look with long layers at the ends. Have fun.

I would like to set up a small market stall in our small town, how do i go about this?

our little towm has everyday market stalls but not very many, so i was thinking of stuff that would sell well. we do have a small store that sells make-up scarfs, hair pieces and belts clips, but it is naff really and only sells that cheap make-up. ect

other stalls there include 2 underwear, a sports stall, rug stall, meat stall, odds and ends and the last one is a dogs bit and pieces. we have your general basic shops but nothing like the high street.

a friend has offered to help finacially as i am a single mum of 2 and finding it very difficult to get employed as i have spent 10 years raising my children. so please give me some ideas but i would like to sell decent make-up. like revelon foundations that sell for 鎷?3 a bottle in boots but i can get it for 鎷? if i go into the bigger towns on the markets, so im looking along therm lines. more ideas and were to go from here. and how much for stock would we anitially be looking at spending on a rough basis. north east peterlee

I would like to set up a small market stall in our small town, how do i go about this?

i feel it is good business do it

I would like to set up a small market stall in our small town, how do i go about this?

If the market is run by your local council the first thing you need is public liability insurance an annual one off payment. The National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) or George Imber are the 2 companies most used. It`s only @ 鎷?0.00 but essential.

Initial set up costs - stall ,depends on size, sheets, clips,

look on ebay or ask traders on markets, they always know of someone selling a stall. Then your stock and carrier bags.

The way I started was looking at my local markets and finding what was missing then as I got established, moved onto stuff I like.

You can get a magazine called Trader at most big

newsagents if you want some ideas. if you can get to Manchester, there`s a great wholesalers called Northwest cosmetics. I found costume jewellry worked well as a second line. Wholesalers -Amber jewellry Manchester.

I would like to set up a small market stall in our small town, how do i go about this?

Hi, Your town is small, you have no market, sorry. Save your money. Due to the internet everyone now buys at trade prices.

I would like to set up a small market stall in our small town, how do i go about this?

I had market stalls in a small town. The trick is to buy cheap and sell cheap. go for things people need all the time. I was buying kids underwear for a couple of quid in a pack of 10. I added a couple of quid and they flew out. I also found that costume jewellery and cheap make up went very well.

I found talking to the market toby (Person in charge) and other traders invaluable, as long as you were not treading on their toes they are generally really happy to suggest lines and suppliers good luck

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

This question is just of personal interest to me. At age 24, I was diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin's Disease) and I just found out over Christmas that I've relapsed. I lost my hair during chemotherapy but almost always wore hats and hair pieces. Many people didn't know I was sick unless I told them. After my stem cell/bone marrow transplant I looked sickly for awhile but recovered quickly.

I've been in many situation where people were really nice and friendly, talkative until we got to the subject of my illness. Suddenly, they were uncomfortable. Which I can understand.

People in my family often treat me like I can't do things on my own (physically) and it irritates me, because I don't FEEL sick. I'm confident that I can beat it again and live a healthy life (I'm only 25!)

Is it just that non-sick people have pity for us? Do they just not know HOW to react? I try to hide it from people so I don't make THEM uncomfortable. lol

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

Dear Kaillita,

I am sorry you have had to deal with the illness you have had. But, in answer to your question, I would not treat you any differently than I would if you were my friend and you were sick. That's not how friends work. I have had a similar problem. At the age of 28 (I am 32 now) I broke my spine. I had a spinal disease as a child which made my spine more susceptible to problems such as fractures, arthritis, and degenerative disc disease. I actually lost friends because of it. I think they were either afraid that what I had was 'catchy' or they did not know what to say to me about my disease and felt like they couldn't talk to me about it...ask questions, etc. I also spent a lot of time in the hospital and I think it made people feel uncomfortable. My mother also sometimes (still) treats me like I can't do a lot of things and I have friends who do this as well. Like last week, I wanted to go ice skating and everyone freaked out because they thought I'd get hurt. I understand their concern...but like you I am confident that I can handle whatever is going to happen to me and so I called my orthopedic doctor...asked for his opinion about going skating...he said go for it and I did and it was great. I am not going to...I refuse to live my life in a glass bubble. I have a lot of life to live and I plan to enjoy it. I honestly believe that people just do not always know the right way to react to people who have health issues. Some of it may be pity. Some may feel guilty that it is happening to you and not them. My mom cried and wanted it to be her instead of me. That could be some of what your family is feeling. They might feel hopeless. Scared. My advice to you is to tell you family and friends what you need. If they get too pushy, annoying...whatever you want to call it...just tell them you appreciate the concern and that you love them but you are a strong person and are not going to let Hodgkins dictate how you live your life. I applaud your willingness to fight. You attitude is an inspiration to others...even me and I have so been there. If you want to talk further email me at helpkaira@yahoo.com I'd love to get to know you some more. You sound like and amazingly strong, intelligent and determined individual. That is going to help you continue to fight and win your battle. You sound like a beautiful woman and your family and friends should feel blessed to have you in their lives.

Take care of yourself. I will keep you in my thoughts for an improved and speedy recovery...but don't forget to take time for yourself and ask for help if you need it.

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

I wouldn't treat you different. I judge on personality. Not looks or sicknesses.

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

Well, most people don't have to deal with serious illnesses either in themselves or anyone they know, so yes, it does make them uncomfortable if they're confronted with it. It's certainly not your fault, but it's not really theirs either, it's just a situation that they're not prepared to deal with, I would imagine that your family and friends after time will get used to it and realize that when you're fine that you're really fine and they don't have to treat you like you're made of glass. In the meantime, you may have to gently educate people that although what you have can be serious and debilitating, while it's not, you just want to be treated like everybody else (which is pretty much what everybody wants I suppose).

As for whether I personally treat people differently if they're sick, really only if they're my patients ^_^. Otherwise I figure they feel bad enough with the disease itself without being made to feel like a leper for it.

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

I think it can bring out the best in people becuase they dont know what to do. My mom was just diagnosed with lung cancer and it changed her so much, it also changed me to feel more human and reach out to people. Most people are uncomfortable with things they are unfamiliar with.

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

Myself I treat people the same sick or not.The only way I would not cut up if they feel really bad. Alto of people are scared for themselves not the sick because they know that one day they might be in your shoes also they think if they treat you like you need to be bed ridden you might live longer or help make the cancer go away.keep eating and doing what you are doing. I will pray for you good luck and take care.

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

A great deal of people don't understand cancer enough to treat them the same. My mother was that way. I really did not know how much she worked until I saw her in her last two weeks on earth. She was a very strong woman. Her strength is now my strength. Act strong and God bless. People don't know you yet if they treat you differently they don't know your strength.

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

I am so sorry to hear of your cancer and like you said you are a fighter!!

I have a councilor I go to for managing my pain and other things. Normal peeps do not understand what being sick or in pain does to ones mental health! I got up from my chair my last appointment and I could not stand. Mr. helped me like he does and to us this is not a big deal. The councilor said to me after she herd my bones popping and how I needed help so you are really hurting. This to me was surprising, what do you think we were talking about.....

People do act differently when they find out it is not that one is fat but because of the braces and clothing one has on, or one is cranky from the meds or like in your instance you have cancer and there is side effects. I wear warm gloves while shopping and can not walk as fast as Mr. and at time I am in a lot of pain. I get the strangest looks from people! With my disabled son we get many rude comments, people just do not know what to do.....

I came home to where I grew up to take care of my dying father. My family was shocked that I was treating him like normal, like I have done all my life. This made my father feel normal, like he was when he was healthy. I also talked to him a lot like I had always done. The rest of my family were horrified and quite mean to me because of this.

I am sure in the hospital you have over herd conversations of sick kids and there parents? I herd one where the child was just flat out mean to the parents. The parents treating the child as if the child was sick and not a normal child. People who are sick just want to be treated like a normal person. Not cruel but not sick, or at least this is the way I feel. Also those who are disabled deformities in wheelchairs etc.

Anyhoo these are my thoughts on this. Feel better and keep up the fight :0)

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

no we pray for them and encourage.by telling them to trust in God. he is our healer.. in Matthews 10-8 it says he heal the sick and raise the dead cleanse lepers cast out demons. amen all you have to do believe and call on the name of Jesus. i will be praying for you healing.so be blessed and hold you head up and look toward heaven may.God bless be a around

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

I don't treat anyone differently unless there a holes. There are people that are or have been sick that I hang with. This one guy had cancer in his face,he's in remission aging, but lost 1/3 of his face. I knew before it started and he is still a great guy.The loss of eye,ear and cheek bone many people look the other way or cross the street when they see him.Others treat him like he can't do things like drive or talk loud as if he's deaf. And most are uncomfortable around him. Same thing with my blind friend. Most people just don't know how to deal with this situation. I too have some handicaps from surgeries not that you can see it other than walking with a cane. Even with just that some people treat me different. We just forget about it and go on.Your much younger than my friends and I am, I think your last paragraph pretty much answers it all. Just don't let it get you down as time goes by they will adjust to you. Reading your question, I think that you have the spunk and a good out look to beat it aging, and have a long healthy and happy lifetime ahead of you. Best of luck!!

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

well those people more than likely love you and know you they just care . you'd be the same way to them dont let it bug ya to much. they will bounce back and treat ya like they did before that takes time. Just like if you break your arm everyone wants to do stuff for ya but take the cast off and look what happens.lol

Do you treat people differently if you know they are sick?

You GO! You BEAT that cancer AGAIN!

You can do it!

People just don't know what to do or say, but they mean well. Look at their hearts.

You hang in there and win the fight! I'm rooting for you!

Best wishes.

Are you a seasoned hairstylist?

If so I have a question for you. I've worked in the beauty industry for 5 years and in that time I've worked with many different kinds of people. Right now I work at a store that personalizes in wigs, hair pieces, hair extensions, ect. Today these two old women came in together to see if they could find a wig. I must've tried on over 15 different styles and colors on one of the women, but nothing was good enough. I got frustrated after 45 minutes of their nit picking, as is the case with some people (it seems like they're never going to be happy). I bit my tongue today as I always did in the salon. I thought it was me, when I worked in the salon that maybe I just can't do hair, but now I'm starting to wonder if its the person. Synthetic wigs are manufactured to look perfect. What I'm wondering today is, some folks seem to have a nack for making these old hens happy, what is their secret. How do these so-called "people persons" click so well with everyone they come across. Any tips?

Are you a seasoned hairstylist?

Hey I know the feeling. There are those who are easy to please and then there are the elderly who seem very picky and rude. I am not sure how I tend to win these people over, I just try to make them feel young and hip as if you had a 30 year old in your chair that was feeling old. I found that if you think they are gonna be a bother to deal with when they walk in they will sense your fear like dogs! Ha Ha, but seriously, they are a good judge of character and if you can relate to them it helps. I treat all the elderly as if they were my own grand parents and make them feel like they are the only client you have.

Good luck

I just moved to Virginia frome Allentown,Pennnsylvania. i need a hairdo for school can you help me?

I just moved to Virginia frome Allentown,Pennnsylvania. i need a hairdo for school can you help me?

Ok, try reading the Teen People magazine. It has really good hair styles. One is, get your hair down, and put hairspray over the ends, then curl your hair w/ a thick barrell curling iron, then, take a blow dryer, to make the curls into loose beach waves. It'll look awesome for school. And bangs are cool, too. Go to an appointment, or do it alone. Get your bangs cut, Long ones. Down to the bottom of your nose. Hope I helped.

Yeah, you can always do a GI Jane. That's hot.

why don't you stick with a simple ponytail until you get a feel for what is "in" at your new school, and maybe ask some of your new girlfriends for advice...it'll get the ball rolling and you'll be more secure in your choices...good luck in your new school!

I just moved to Virginia frome Allentown,Pennnsylvania. i need a hairdo for school can you help me?

Go to the salon and have them cut and style your hair.

I just moved to Virginia frome Allentown,Pennnsylvania. i need a hairdo for school can you help me?

Do all kinds of styles girl. Maybe like a messy bun, you can straighten it or something. I have lots of ideas but really hard to explain it in words. I'll try. You can brush your hair back on the top of your head just a smal portion of it and use a small clip to clip it back. You could leave it like that or after you do that you can put your bottom hair in like low pigtails. Try going on http://www.hairstyle-hairstyles.com/cute...

I just moved to Virginia frome Allentown,Pennnsylvania. i need a hairdo for school can you help me?

ok. you can do a simple bun, i saw one where you make three sections, you put the back section in a ponytail, clip it, then wrap the side sections around the ponytail and clip it. It is cute, and easy! try it!

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

Of course, love that is not there initially may grow to be in time. Subtle ways of mixing and matching indifferences can open the doors of the heart and soul. But as in most cases, one or both parties tire of settling for less and eventually such connections end in divorce and bitter break-ups.

Subsequently, life is too short to make the same old time-proven mistakes. Therefore, are we better off taking a little longer to find what we truly want in marriage and relationships, instead of faking harmony in hopes of making the relationship in front of us work閳ユ敃imply because it閳ユ獨 available and convenient?

If you don't like smoking, then marrying a smoker in hopes that they will quit the habit one day, is like planting a tree between you and your spouse. And, if you don't care for overweight partners in a relationship, why marry someone with an eating disorder--only to end up fighting with them about diets and weight problems?

The ingredients of culture are also very problematic in relationships. For example: On average Black women have round, fat butts as a natural part of Black genetics. While White women have flat, skinny butts. Because of the cultural difference Black men inadvertently find flat, skinny butts to be a real romantic turnoff not by choice but by tradition. Which seems to offend some White women for not being accepted for who they are.

However, many interracial relationships succeed because of mixing and matching of indifferences such as the skin color, often very shapely legs, and the long silky hair feature of White women. Though few Black men will openly admit it, braids, hair pieces, weaves, and the short, frizzy hair feature of Black women is a turnoff for Black men.

All together, is there some sort of mechanism by which one is able to be respectable for the duration and accept people for who they are when the physical attraction doesn't automatically exist?

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

no, I think they are based on things you have in common.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

duh.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Less rambling and more to the point would be advisable.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

All people are better off taking a little longer to find out what they want in a marriage and a relationship. No one should fake harmony or caring. No one should ever marry someone, hoping to change the characteristics they don't like "someday," like smoking, overeating, drinking too much. No one should marry anyone with whom they are not compatible, though it happens all the time.

I don't understand the concept of marrying someone when you aren't physically attracted to them. Is this what you're thinking of doing, or have done? If so, what circumstances led you to do this?

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

We come to love not by finding a perfect person

But by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

Sam Keen

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

I don't think you can do anything about lack of physical attraction.

But accepting some thing that is unchangeable about your partner like a love of golf or something will enhance your relationship. Of course don't accept things that are intolerable to you as that will lead to resentment on your part.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

I think relationships differ from person to person. For example some ppl are born doormats so they give up a lot for their partners. In some cases like arranged marriages you don't have to option of quiting, you either live miserabally or make the best of it. Sometimes like they say, love i s blind and you over look the faults until they hit you in the face so to speak. But in any partnership, you do have to make some compramise, even if it is about sharing a blanket.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

Indifference means not caring one way or the other...it is improper usage of the word. You cannot mix and match indifferences. It is like saying you are particularizing aloofness.

You answered your own question in the first paragraph. You are joking, right?

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

For ur sake i hope this is part of an assignment! If not then stop thinking too much. U will NEVER find a hard n fast rule for the attractions between the sexes, regardless of race, gender or culture. There are always exceptions to the rule n ur just gonna drive urself around the bend trying to figure it all out. Try just mellowing a little. Is there any specific reason u wanna know this stuff? have u been dumped for someone from a different culture, or different appearance? If that's the case then u will never find a stand out warning that it is gonna happen again. The beauty and horror of us as human beings is that we may conform to a group or ideal but u go find us at 2am n it doesn't mean s**t who or what we say we r ; we just want what we want cuz its what makes us happy or content or safe..... or whatever other infinitesimal reason is significant to us at that point in time. Just try not to analyse things too much cuz ur gonna make urself nuts tryin. Good luck.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

What the hell is your point?

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

You seem to be having a nice conversation with yourself

However, the answer to your first question is absolutely not and in fact the opposite is true. If one accepts the the other for who they are and not what they want to change that person into, or what they want them to be, this the basis of a good relationship.

The answer to the second question is yes. The third question isn't really a question. The fourth question is nonsensical gibberish.

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

You ran off course with this one . . .are you asking about the mechanics of a relationship? Or was this a subtle attempt to make it a point to address the aesthetics of black women vs. white women - and how black men prefer the latter? I will address your question in two parts.

As far as relationships go there is no perfect way to make one work. They are based on trial and error, and we just have to be smart enough to know when something doesn't work. There is no "perfect match" (contrary to some popular match-making websites). You just find that one particular person who is compatible with all aspects of your personality, and you with theirs. Notice I said compatible but that does not mean they have to necessarily like them. Human error in relationships is that we tend to be drawn to the fairytale . . . and those are for children. The end of the story may say "happily ever after" but do you notice the story usually ends after the couple rides away into the sunset. The reality is when they wake up ten years later they don't even know who the person is laying next to them. So, the answer to your question is . . . there is no answer. Life and relationships are not well-oiled machines, they take some repair and patching up to make them work. All we can do is make sure we keep our heads on straight through it all.

Secondly, the natural hair of women of African descent is thick, soft and strong. No, it may not flow down their backs in cascades of tendrils but, who is to say that is the only definition of what is beautiful hair. The braids, hair pieces and weaves you mentioned have a historical value that (these dissatisfied black men you mentioned) obviously don't know about. These techniques of enhancing the hair were developed by African tribes and held a spiritual importance. That is the one thing women of African descent can say still holds true from the past and hasn't become watered down in this European culture. That is what makes it so beautiful. The full backsides, curvy frames and lips that European women pay the big bucks for . . . well a higher power is to thank for that . . . the wrinkle-free pallets of earthen skin at the age of 60 - that is not the work of Oil of Olay.

BUT I digress . . .

Black men are welcome to desire whom they please (as is anyone). The point is interracial or interspecies . . . no relationship is free of pitfalls. We are all playing poker . . .

Are romances based on accepting people for who they are the beginning of a failed relationship?

My love is based on first impressions.

After that I get "future shock."

This one girl I picked based on her work habits and hair. She's conservative, ultra christian and I said to myself.

She's got a bed sheet with a hole in it and that's how we'll make babies, until then we'll sleep in different rooms.

I didn't care. I liked her.

Her politics are radical, she's a neo-Libertarian.

I didn't care.

She wants babies and that's always made me afraid.

No more.

She has narrow views on everything from eating to religion to policts.

I have to learn to live with that.

Her family is mixed racially.

Who cares.

You either LIKE the person or you don't.

That don't mean you like their religion, polictics, choice of food.

It means you LIKE the PERSON.

Her voice soothes me. It makes me feel good.

Her smile is hypnotic.

I calm down when I'm around her.

She's into her family and they are 10 handfulls and he's two hanfulls.

You either agree to accept this or you don't!

You either like THEM, not what they are or what they do, but THEM or you don't.

It's that simple.

Where can I find one of those hairslides with net on?

I'm looking for somewhere that sells those hair pieces, that have a comb slide and you put in in your hair and attached to it is a piece of net which hangs over on eye. I'm not sure what they're called. People sometimes where them to weddings and special occasions etc...

Where can I find one of those hairslides with net on?

had loads of these for my daughter till she had way too much hair to put in them.......found a lot of them at Claire's and a few of the beauty / hair shops.

I have also made them in the past to match certain outfits, very little effort and a glue gun...........

Styles for Women of Color?

I'm a creative writing student and have recently developed a female character who happens to be African-American. When I embarked on this journey I didn't really realize how difficult it would be for me to explain her appearance, knowing nothing about hair styles for women of color.

I don't want to be stereotypical or anything, but are there any good websites out there? I know there's not just a bunch of Beyonce's running around with hair pieces.

Is it possible to have wavy/curly hair one day and sleek/straight hair the next with the use of product and a straightner or is that a more long term change that needs to be done with a relaxer?

Any help/suggestions/nods in the right direction would be appreciated! :)

Styles for Women of Color?

Yes, it's very possible to have wavy/curly hair one day, and bone straight hair the next. I do it all the time. =)

All black people don't have the same hair type. I, for instance, am perm/relaxer free, and have Type 4a hair, which is kinky/coily hair. But, another black person could have 3c/4a hair, and their hair would also be coily, but more on the curly side.

**In case that was confusing, here's a site to explain: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/hairtyp...

As far as styles, it would depend on what you want to do. Relaxed or natural, depending on the length of hair, black women (or men) can pretty much achieve every style any other race of people can. So if you were to create a character who is natural, I'd suggest looking at these sites: http://www.deeplyrootedhair.com/natural....

* You can look at twist styles, natural styles, or braided styles.

http://www.ehairbraiding.com/2002/qony_1...

* Under "styles", simply click on the styles to view the pic.

Other sites: http://www.geocities.com/acebrit/stylin....

http://www.khamitkinks.com/Home.html

*Click on "gallery", then click on "natural", "weave", etc. Whichever styles you'd like to look at.

http://www.universalsalons.com/styles.as...

*This site has all kinds of styles; natural and non.

Oh, and when I say "natural", that just means relaxer/perm- free. Natural hair can be braided, in an afro, or bone straight (flat-ironed); any other, just not done with chemicals. Hair color excluded, of course. =)

As far as your character having relaxed hair, the majority of black women in the U.S. relax/perm their hair. ***Don't know if you wanted or even needed this info: But after about 4-12 weeks, depending on the individual, a touch-up is needed. A touch-up simply means relaxing the 1in. or more of "new growth" that is unrelaxed. It does cost money, $50 + to get a touch-up, but some women self-relax at home with box relaxers that cost under $10. (can be dangerous, though)

I hoped that help. And if you need any more information, you can send me a message, and I'll try to explain/help as much as I can. Good luck!
