My hair is wavy at the front but straighter and more frizzy at the back. I also have to wash it in the evening because I don't have time in the morning. I would like to be able to make it wavy instead of frizzy without using curling irons and without having to spend ages styling it.
I have tried plaiting it overnight but it makes it frizzy, is there anything I can use to make this work?
I have heard sea salt works well (my hair usually looks really nice on holiday when it dries after I have been in the sea) Anyone tried this?
I also like the tousled, piece-y look, any ideas how to achieve this?
How to get wavy hair?
I have that kind of beach, tousled hair and people always ask how I get it like that. My secret is not washing my hair or brushing it for a few days, but it is long so it depends on your length of hair otherwise shorter hair will go too matted and big. Also, to get that salt water effect, take an empty spray bottle, fill it will salt water and when styling your hair, spritz some lightly over your roots and ends and scrunch with your fingers and don't comb it out!

Braid your hair!! At night before you go to sleep make 4, braids, one in each-side and 2, on top, you get me? Dont put hair spray or nothing, just braid it go to sleep, and take the braids off before you leave then add hairspray!!
Enjoy your wavy hair ;)

When you get out from the shower, roll it up in a towel and leave it for about ten minutes. Then take off the towel without rubbing your hair or brushing it either. Go to sleep with your hair wet and see how it will look like in the morning.

My hair is straight, but not frizzy, so I'm not sure if this will work for you, but it's worth a shot -
Wash in the evening, then let it dry just a bit, and with your hair still moist, wrap it in a bun.
In the morning it should still be a tiny bit wet, and wavy.
Maybe you can use a frizz-ease product or some type of mousse or gloss to prevent frizz before you put it ina bun...
