I just want a small piece blue (like 1 inch). I have already done this, but is this bad for my hair? Other than buying a kit to do it, is there some home way to do this that is better? The reason that I dont want a kit is because it is such a small part of my hair.

sharpie washes right out with shampoo, so it's not even worth it.
buy Manic Panic hair dye and some bleach. it's really worth it, they're both so cheap, and you can use the Manic Panic over and over, so it's not a waste.
