Why is my hair falling out?

I am only 14 and my hair falls out a lot. im not bald or anything, nothing u can notice, but when ever i touch my head a little or scratch it ligthly, a piece or two falls out. this keeps happening. it has been happening for a year now.

Why is my hair falling out?

is your hair long?

you have tens of thousands of strands of hair...the longer they are, the older they are and the more they are subjected to the elements (wind, heat, etc.) it's natural for it to fall out the longer it gets.

Why is my hair falling out?

go to the docs

Why is my hair falling out?

could be stress or medication

it is probably in your genes.

Why is my hair falling out?

If you aren't eating enough, it may cause this to happen, and it only gets worse. I know someone who used to have thick, beautiful hair, and now she's practically bald because she developed an eating disorder. Make sure you have a healthy, plentiful diet!

Why is my hair falling out?

This happens to me too.

I can always find a piece or two on my desk or on my clothing.

It could be that you don't brush or comb your hair enough, or it could be your shampoo.. if you're really concerned go to a hair stylist or even the doctor, you can never be too careful.

Why is my hair falling out?

I almost think its natural. I mean my hair falls out wen i try to comb it with my fingers. Or it could be genetics, or mayb ur not healthy. Ur hair would probally fall out if u dont take care of it right or dye ur hair too much. It could aslo be a sign for something so mayb going to a doc would be good. Just to make sure u kno

Why is my hair falling out?

I agree, I mean it could be in your genes!

If is not that, you may have a stress or something like that!

You may try to use shampoo for that or some medicine.

Why is my hair falling out?

I was told by a hairdresser that losing several strands of hair a day is perfectly normal. We are constantly growing new hair to replace them.

Why is my hair falling out?

On average a person looses between 40 and 100 strands of hair per day. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as it's not falling out in clumps or your not noticing bald spots.

Why is my hair falling out?

As you enter puberty sometimes the changes in your hormones may make you shed more hair then you did before. Since you are worried, you can go to your pediatrician and ask them to try %26amp; find out why it's happening. But if you are not seeing bald patches or a rash (or any other irritations) then I wouldn't worry too much about it a doctor can examine your scalp for you.
