How can I safely remove tape from my bunnie's hair?

she has a nice piece of tape stuck underneath her mouth. she keeps gnawing at it but not having much success. I tried wetting the hair, no success. I tried pulling the tape, no success; tape is really stuck. she has short hair so i couldn't cut it either.

You have to be very careful , but finger nail polish remover really kills adhesive .

I guess if you can't find a way to get it off easily, just pull it really fast. Like when you take off a band aid. It'll probably hurt, but I'm sure shell get over it.

Throw it down the stairs.

Grab the edge with a tweezers (or if necessary a pair of pliers), and just yank, holding the chin as still as possible.

I had a cat that would find the worst things in the world to get stuck in his fur, and this is usually what I ended up needing to do. It sounds cruel, but it really is a better alternative than letting the rabbit eat the tape and possibly poisoning itself with the adhesive.
