Has anybody bought a home laser hair removal machine? They're usually about 鎷?20-ish.
Did it work well? were you happy with the results???
Its a lot to spend and i dont want to be stuck with a piece of useless crap like the home electrolysis kits.
Thanks :0)
Laser hair removal??????
Yes, i did not long ago, the Rio Scanning (claims to treat 'up to 20 hairs' at the same time). I've only used it about 3-4 times (although for very long periods of time!) so it's early days to tell. Basically what i can say is that of all the areas i treated, it has 'worked' on a few hairs. I know because i've been going to hair laser clinics regularly for the past 2 or 3 years. You know, the hair burns and you can smell it. But seriously, it is probably less than 10% of the hairs treated. Also, this home made machine is a very very long process. It is ok to use on face or bikini line for example to treat odd hairs (and even i have the feeling this could take months to treat) but if you want to do your legs or arms for example, forget it, you would just need to be doing it 24/7!
So yes for odd hairs, No for whole areas
Also, don't know if you know that but :laser works best on very dark hair. And i know from experience it is true. So if your hair is fair then that's a total waste of money, it will not work.
Hope that was somehow helpful :)
Laser hair removal??????
It is not a good option. Search for similar posts on yahoo answers and you will find unhappy customers you can also go to http://www.HairRemovalForum.com and you will find unhappy customers in their posts as well.
Laser hair removal??????
The home units are nowhere near the strength capacity that a real, doctor-operated laser device would be. The reason for that is simple--- the FDA will not approve something that may cause burns, etc. for home use.
I have never used one but I read plenty about it on hairtell.com and have not heard of anyone who has had success with it. Maybe int he future, but at this time I say waste of money.
