Platinum blonde hair? Will it work?

I don't wanna dye my whole head Platinum blond, just some pieces like a streak in my bangs and some pieces below.

I already bleached the parts that I want to get platinum blond and they came out orange. My natural hair color is black and it's dyed brown.

Do you think it'll work and the orange/brassiness will get out?

Suggest some more things about going platinum blond if you can, please.

Haha, you dont particularly need proffesional help, I've been from artificial brunette to platinum, you just need to do it in stages so your hair doesn't become weak and brittle.

What you should do is get the 40 volume developer and bleach powder (you could get the clairol colour but i think powder is stronger) section off the part you want to bleach and apply the bleach all over the hair strand but leave about half an inch at the top and apply the bleach to that area LAST because it generally lightens much faster than the ends.

Because your hair is an artificial brown you might need to bleach the selected area's TWICE, however make sure you do a deep conditioning treatment in between to give your hair a rest.

Shampoo isn't the strongest/best toner. I used a mousse toner (schwatzkoph makes a good one) in iceflower or any type designed to remove red tones and it will work wonderfully!

If your natural color is black you are really going to mess up your hair by doing it yourself. You NEED professional help whether you believe it or not.

GET PROFESSIONAL HELP. would you rather dye your hair by yourself (possibly messing up and looking like a freak) or just take a day off to go to the salon and get pampered for a low price, maybe getting a mani-pedi to go with it? Yeah, i think you know the answer.

don't do it yourself! especially if you are making an extreme color change, like going from really dark to really light.

yes just bleach your hair again

and then use some toner

i bleached the whole top of my head from black (i dyed my hair black for about 2 years)

to white blonde

it took about 6 months for it to get to the right colour

and my hair was majorly dead

but it is all repaired now and i never went to a professional

i dont trust other people with my hair
