Dwarf hair grass...any experience with it??

Hello to everyone!!

I have heard that dwarf hair grass is very easy to grow in an aquarium and that it does not require lots of care...I have also heard that it creates a carpet on the substrate...Well, I bought a small plant a month ago and nothing happens at all...only pieces of it being detached and floating in the aquarium...Does anyone know any certain water conditions this plant requires??

Its scientific name is Elocharis Parvulus...

I have and it is messey like you said I would not recomend it instead try and anubius bardi their very hardy
