Funky colors in my hair?

i want to put some colors in my hair

but it's dark brown and i refuse to bleach it first

i just want pieces of color

and i dont want perminance or else my parents will freak

suggestions?

and by colors i mean like the ones in the rainbow, not natural hair colors.

Hmmm...if you aren't going to bleach it I would say red, or maybe purple or pink.

It would be really neat if you could put a star or something in it like this (ignore the over all hair style, lol)

Alot of the salons or beauty stores now carry temporary hair colors. They just shampoo out. Call a couple local salons and ask about them or if you have a local beauty supplier contact them.

i would say little streaks of red, orange, deep purple, and blue(dark or light)

You can get temporary hair colors like spray in a can from stores like Spencer's in the mall. You can just spray a strand or two that way %26amp; if your parent freak you can wash it out.

I think I would go ahead %26amp; tell the parents 1st that you would like to try it %26amp; really hit hard on the it's not perm thing.

All funky colors are semi permanent, unfortunately...

I think you should get purple and blue or red and orange (depending on your skin tone) in two chunks in the bottom layers of your hair. So you can put those pieces over your shoulders, you know? With most, if you don't bleach first, you'll just tone the hair, and you'll have to leave it on much longer. Sally has a great selection, and Manic Panic is great.
