Will my leg hair possibly not grow back right?

I used an electric shaver to shave a small patch of hair on my thigh for the first time in my life (I'm a guy)... this was about 3-4 weeks ago. There is still very little stubble in the majority of the area to the point where it can be hardly felt, and impossible to see.

The rest of my leg hair is extremely curly and goes all over the place. I'm kinda worried that this hair might not even grow back for a while yet?

How long should it take to grow back? And is it possible it might not be curly? The few pieces that have grown back aren't curly at all.

Unless you damage the roots (laser hair treatment, YEARS of waxing which scars the roots), yes, your hair will grow back. It might not grow back for a while (when I first started shaving my hair took a while to grow back too), maybe a couple of weeks, but it'll come, and it'll come back curly. They may not seem curly at first but give it time and it'll be the way it was.

BTW - No, it does not come back "thicker". That is a myth. It just seems that way at first because of the stubble, but shaving your hair does not impact its density or whether it's curly, straight, etc.

wow, ok. i think it'll probably grow back soon, i'm suprised it hasn't yet, but yes it will def. be curly if the rest of your hair is, it's like, in your genes. like curly eyelashes because you have curly hair...ya know? i hope its a small spot...goodluck

it takes a longer time to come back because it is an electric shaver but yes it will come back and curly

Well, most hair usually grows back small, not curly, and thicker....so I am not sure =/ But it should be growing soon because 3wks is a while.
