Hello, I am a year round swimmer and have been growing my hair out as I refuse to have my hair shorter than chin length and got tired of fighting the bangs that affected my breathing in swimming. No matter how I pinned and clipped, well lets just say that is a pet peave of mine to have layers so short they won't go into a ponytail. What do you feel is a good length (photo link would be nice) where a simple ponytail can be used without having to boby pin and clip short pieces, but still has some movement and style (aka not too long) for when I am not in the pool? aiming for anywhere from shoulder length to top of bra length. Thanks!
Please recommend a hair cut for an athletic but girlly swimmer?
Get an inverted bob. I used to have one. It's shorter in the back and longer in the front. It's very stylish, and even though your hair will be short in back, the hair that frames your face is longer so it still appears to be fairly long. It's also really easy to style.
